Job Title: Architect or Architectural Technologist

Location: Canterbury

An award-winning architectural practice with over 90 years of experience and a talented team of 50+ professionals is seeking an Architect or Architectural Technician to join their Canterbury studio. The practice delivers a broad range of services including master planning, heritage consultancy, and principal designer services across the Residential, Heritage, Leisure & Hospitality, and Education sectors in Kent and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to work on residential projects from inception through to completion within a collaborative, dynamic team environment.

Daily Duties

* Provide technical expertise and support to the design team
* Develop detailed drawings and specifications
* Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and current standards
* Coordinate design packages produced by the wider design team
* Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality designs
* Manage projects through all RIBA work stages

Ideal Candidate

* Over several years post-graduation experience, ideally in the residential sector
* Excellent design skills with strong knowledge of Building Regulations
* Experience running projects through all RIBA work stages
* Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Revit is an advantage
* Excellent presentation skills
* Able to work collaboratively and contribute to a dynamic team environment
* Experience delivering RIBA Stage 4-6 projects for major house building clients is desirable
