Architectural Technologist
Location: Cambridge
Salary: GBP34-40,000

An award winning chartered architectural practice based in Cambridge is looking to appoint a skilled Architectural Technologist to join its friendly and collaborative team. The successful candidate will work across a varied portfolio of medium to large scale projects within the residential, workplace, retail, leisure and conservation sectors across the South and East of England, playing a key role in delivering high quality technical solutions. This position offers the opportunity to be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from early design stages through to completion on site.

Key Responsibilities for the Architectural Technologist role:
* Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction packages
* Support planning applications and the development of technical documentation
* Produce coordinated drawing packages across various RIBA stages
* Work closely with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure alignment
* Assist in delivering projects in line with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
* Attend site visits and project meetings when required

The relevant Architectural Technologist will have:
* Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a similar field
* Experience within a UK based architectural practice
* Strong technical understanding and knowledge of UK Building Regulations
* Proven experience producing detailed drawing packages across multiple RIBA stages
* Effective communication skills with a team focused and organised mindset
* Proficiency in Revit and other relevant industry software
