Architectural Technologist
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: circa GBP40,000

A design-led architectural practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its Tunbridge Wells studio. The successful candidate will be a Chartered Architectural Technologist with over significant experience, bringing strong technical expertise and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to project delivery. You will work closely with Architects, this role will play a key part in developing and delivering high-quality technical design solutions across a range of projects.

Role & Responsibilities

* Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages
* Work across multiple project stages, supporting design and delivery
* Collaborate with architects, consultants and wider project teams
* Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation
* Contribute to the coordination and technical resolution of projects
* Support project delivery with a practical and solutions-focused approach

Requirements

* Chartered Architectural Technologist (CIAT)
* Significant experience post qualification in a UK-based practice
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
* Experience with Photoshop and SketchUp or similar 3D/rendering tools
* Previous experience within a UK architectural practice preferred
* Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and statutory requirements
* Demonstrable technical design ability and strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively
* Interest in sustainable and environmental design principles
