Architectural Technologist

An established architectural practice is seeking a capable Architectural Technologist with sufficient post-qualification experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional to take ownership of projects and play a key role in delivering high-quality architectural solutions across a varied portfolio. The successful candidate will manage diverse projects, overseeing technical delivery from design development through to construction. The role involves coordinating closely with clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and to a high technical standard. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor a junior team member while contributing to a collaborative studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Working on the technical development from design through to construction.
* Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications.
* Working within a team of Senior Architectural Technologists and Architects.
* Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and construction standards.
Key Requirements
* Sufficient post-qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist.
* Proven experience running projects independently.
* Strong proficiency in Revit and experience with NBS Chorus or similar specification tools.
* Comprehensive technical knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and UK regulations.
* Experience delivering projects under traditional and design and build procurement routes.
* Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work stages from concept through to contract administration.
* Strong communication, organisational, and client-facing skills.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
