This is an excellent opportunity to join an established architectural practice who offer specialised design services to the retail sector. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Architectural Technician to join their team in Wigston.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technician include:

* Manage and deliver projects from inception through to completion
* Prepare and submit building regulation and planning applications
* Carry out site visits to ensure technical compliance and high quality is achieved
* Liaise with clients and contractors to build and maintain strong working relationships

Skills and experience for the role of Architectural Technician:

* Relevant degree within architectural technology or architecture
* Relevant post qualification experience in a relevant role within a UK practice
* Proficient with Vectorworks
* Good working knowledge of UK building regulations
* Experience working on projects within the commercial or retail sector
* Ability to work well independently and within a team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Live within a commutable distance to the Wigston area
