Job Title: Architectural Technician/ Technologist

Daily Duties

* Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and working documentation
* Develop construction information in coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and quality requirements
* Assist in the preparation of planning and building control submissions
* Conduct site visits to advise on buildability, detailing, and technical resolution
* Maintain CAD/BIM standards and oversee drawing accuracy and quality control
* Contribute to tender documentation and project handover packages
* Support junior technicians and drafters with guidance and mentoring

Ideal Candidate

* Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology / Technician discipline (HNC/HND or degree)
* Proven experience delivering technical outputs on medium to large-scale projects
* Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)
* Several years UK based experience in a Technical role
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and specification writing
* Excellent coordination and communication skills with architects, engineers, and contractors
* Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused
* Confident undertaking site visits and translating technical issues into practical solutions
* Collaborative, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality, buildable architecture
