Architectural Technician
Location: St Albans
Salary: GBP32,000 to GBP40,000

A design led and highly regarded architecture studio in St Albans is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its growing team. Known for its collaborative culture, long term client relationships and commitment to quality, the practice combines thoughtful design with technical excellence. The studio works across all RIBA stages, specialising in high quality residential and mixed use developments, and offers a supportive environment for technicians looking to take on greater responsibility.

Role

* Lead the technical delivery of residential and mixed use projects from planning through to completion
* Produce detailed drawing packages and construction information
* Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure technical accuracy and compliance
* Support project coordination across all RIBA work stages
* Collaborate closely with senior team members on detailing and buildability

Requirements

* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Significant UK practice experience in a technical role
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations
* Proficient in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign advantageous
* Experience working on large scale residential schemes
* Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills
* Proactive and solutions focused approach
