Architectural Technician

Location: Salisbury

Salary: GBP26-30,000 DOE

An established, design-focused architectural practice in Salisbury is looking for a talented and motivated Architectural Technician to join its friendly, supportive studio. The practice delivers high-quality bespoke residential and commercial projects and places a strong emphasis on technical excellence, collaboration, and thoughtful design at every stage.

Key responsibilities:

* Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and construction packages
* Prepare planning, building control, and tender documentation
* Manage technical details, schedules, and specifications
* Coordinate with consultants, including structural and MEP engineers
* Support project delivery through construction, including site visits
* Respond to technical queries from contractors and consultants
* Ensure drawings comply with UK Building Regulations and standards
* Contribute to internal design and technical reviews
* Research construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

* Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
* Solid understanding of UK construction methods, detailing, and regulations
* Experience preparing technical drawing packages for planning and construction
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
* Collaborative, proactive approach with strong communication skills
* Previous experience within a UK architectural practice is essential
