Architectural Technician
Location: St Albans
Salary: GBP32,000 to GBP40,000

A well established and design focused architectural studio in St Albans is looking to appoint an Architectural Technician to support its expanding team. The practice has built a strong reputation for thoughtful design, close collaboration with clients and delivering technically robust projects. Working across the full range of RIBA stages, the team specialises in high quality residential and mixed use schemes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a technician who wants to take on meaningful responsibility within a supportive and forward thinking environment.

Role
* Manage the technical development of residential and mixed use projects from planning stage through to completion
* Prepare comprehensive drawing packages and detailed construction information
* Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects meet regulatory and technical requirements
* Assist in project delivery throughout all RIBA work stages
* Work alongside senior team members to resolve construction details and technical challenges

Requirements
* Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice in a technical role
* Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations and modern construction techniques
* Proficient in AutoCAD, with Photoshop and InDesign considered beneficial
* Experience contributing to large scale residential developments
* Strong organisational, communication and coordination abilities
* Proactive and solution focused approach to technical problem solving
