Architectural Technician

A leading multidisciplinary practice is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its dynamic and growing architectural team in Bedford. The successful Architectural Technician will work on a variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, producing high-quality technical drawings and detailed designs. They will be responsible for ensuring projects comply with UK Building Regulations, liaising with clients and consultants, and supporting the architectural team throughout all project stages.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:

* An HNC/HND or a degree in Architectural Technology
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
* Experience working on residential and commercial projects
* Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications
* Assisting with planning applications and building regulations submissions
* Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders
* Conducting site visits to oversee project progress
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
