The Role:

Mosaic is the new comprehensive case management system for Childrens Services. It is critical to the delivery of Childrens Social Care by HCC and includes customisable modules which allow HCC to manage case recordings, business intelligence and finances in one integrated system.

Reporting to the Applications Operations & Support Manager, you will:

-Manage delivery of the satisfactory resolution of incidents, service requests, problems and known errors for all Mosaic
-Manage application lifecycle and roadmap for Mosaic
-Lead the Mosaic support team to adhere to a “One Team” approach within Application Operations and Support, ensuring a consistent approach to triage and issue management
-Establish and maintain support procedures, technical solutions and appropriate documentation to enable the support of Mosaic
-Manage future changes to support for Mosaic, working closely with project and transition managers

You will be customer focussed and have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, influence and maintain strong working relationships at all levels. This will include key stakeholders in senior management roles as well as technically skilled colleagues across all IT teams.

The team supports a new social care business application, and team members who are subject matter experts are resourced to both projects and Business as Usual (BAU) activities. A significant element of this role is to manage conflicting demands and priorities for resource assignments, balancing commitments across both areas, and planning for fluctuating demand as required.

Effective Incident and Problem Management is key to our success, and you will lead by example, taking ownership and assuming responsibility to ensure that any escalations are addressed to the satisfaction of our customers.

Our Mosaic support team is at the forefront of our interaction with our customers, and you must have a passion for ensuring that the service provided is at a high-quality which will contribute to the successful operation of the service.
