Application Support Engineer (m/f/d)

We Elevate… Your Responsibilities

• Provide (global) 2nd-level support for Schindler’s IoT and customer-facing products and services, encompassing but not limited to software platforms, web- and smartphone apps, multimedia and communication devices

• Take support responsibility over certain product lines or services, with focus on web- and mobile applications

• Monitor application and service health, alert respective organizations and report findings to management

• Develop technical documentation and instructions and share best practices to ensure smooth operations

• Conduct (technical) training sessions with internal key-users

• Contribute to product improvements by collecting product feature requests into user story formats

• Optional: develop changes and fixes for assigned applications

Education:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering sciences, technical diploma or equivalent qualification

• Experience in a previous technical support role is a must

Knowledge and experience:

• Solid work experience in digital product support, preferably in a global organization

• Expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting and in solving problems end to end over multiple integrated systems (e.g. CRM, IAM, web- and mobile applications)

• Demonstrated ability to develop technical documentation and user instructions

• Experience in working with SAP CRM/ERP is a big plus

• Basic programming skills (.Net, Angular, SQL, scripting) are an advantage

Language Skills:

• Solid command of written and verbal English

• Additional languages a plus
