Our mission is to transform lives through learning, advocating for inclusivity and diversity at every step.About the RoleHere at The Sheffield College, we have a fabulous opportunity for Application Support Analyst to join the IT Systems team. You will implement & support a wide variety of applications & systems across the business. You will be handling incidents and problems across 3rd party applications such as Student records system (Tribal EBS), Finance system (Unit4 ABW) and the Human Recourses system (MHR iTrent).You will also be supporting applications developed in-house and will need to support new applications and tools as the business environment changes over time. These innovative projects require communication skills, problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain support documentation and share knowledge/resolution information with colleagues and customers
  • Supporting on a variety of applications
  • Deliver solutions with both high-availability and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Helping the business adopt a wide variety of IT solutions as part of a digital workplace

  • Experience working within a Microsoft focused environment
  • Strong technology and systems analysis background
  • Ability to write, collate and present reports
  • Experience with SQL and/or programming or software development would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
