Position overview

As the Application Manager Composites, you’ll play a pivotal role in mastering composite production processes, optimizing material performance, and driving innovative solutions. Your expertise will directly influence product development, customer satisfaction, and successful transition to mass production.

Responsibilities
-Knowledge of composites production processes, critical parameters, and machinery.
-Understanding of composite components and their interaction on material performance.
-Good understanding of composite design and its impact on performance.
-Collaborate with formulation experts and technical service to develop composite market solutions.
-Perform experiments to modify resins and formulations to meet customer requirements.
-Lead composite application projects and be actively involved in development.
-Ensure successful transfer of new product recipes and processes to mass production.
-Maintain a safe and regulatory compliant laboratory work environment with proper use of PPE.

Required skills and experience
-Knowledge in the field of composite materials.
-5-10 experience in academic work related to composite production processes.
-Collaboration and team working.
-Good analytical and problem solving skills.
-Results oriented personality.
-Very good communication skills.
-Fluent in English and German (writing and speaking).
-Experience with AI mediated developments is a plus.

Qualifications

-PhD in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Material Science or Engineering
