As a hands-on expert in Ansys products, you will use advanced-level engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support, perform professional services, and help translate customer requirements into exciting new product features. You will be working within multi-disciplinary teams to advance your knowledge, experience, and business impact.Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate technical mastery and knowledge of Electronics/Electromagnetics esp. EMC/EMI, HF-RF and SI simulation techniques to provide the highest level of technical support to customers and channel partners, ensuring high-quality, timely customer service that results in improved customer satisfaction and productivity.
  • Own the customer problems, and proactively engage with selected accounts to provide comprehensive solutions. Work independently and contribute to all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, interact with customers to understand their business needs, product design needs, and engineering design workflows, and articulate Ansys’ value proposition.
  • Instruct introductory training classes and contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects which might include collaborative work with other field engineers in the same or different disciplines.
  • Gather customer requirements to support the improvement of Ansys software and collaborate with the Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product capabilities. Test new releases on industrial problems.
  • Participate in internal corporate initiatives to share knowledge and to create best practices, inside the discipline and cross-disciplines.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Required education and degree type: BS or MS or PhD in Electromagnetics-Electrical-Electronics, HF/RF/SI-EMC/EMI Engineering or a related field.
  • Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering environment: BS+0.
  • Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering practices and product development, experience with building solutions using simulation technology and deploying those solutions within customers’ engineering workflows.
  • Track record of delivering exceptional customer outcomes and revenue impact.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
  • Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers and to a wide range of audiences
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English
  • Ability to organize and drive multiple projects which are complex in nature across geographically diverse locations. Possesses a sense of urgency.
  • Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
  • Knowledge in industry processes and simulation solutions expertise for Electronics, EMC/EMI, HF-RF, SI + Normative/Standards knowledge (esp. for EMC/EMI)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering environment: MS+0 or PhD+0
  • Fluent in writing and speaking French and/or German is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python scripting language is a plus
  • Preferred knowledge in Ansys Electronics and EMA 3D solution and/or competitors
  • Team player, honesty, business oriented, motivated by customer contact and excited in gaining new customers.
  • Strong in documenting and transmitting/spreading knowledge
