Job Description

As a member of Infineon’s specialized application engineering team with your focus on automotive communication, you will enable customers in utilizing Infineon’s automotive software, particularly the 32-bit AURIX microcontrollers. This role involves providing technical support, collaborating globally, analyzing requests, and supporting software design-in to exceed customer expectations.

In your new role you will:

• Be the go-to-person for your worldwide customers and Infineon’s Field Application Engineers , analyzing and answering technical requests and repeating findings in the lab
• Support software design-in at our customers with detailed product expertise of Infineon’s 32bit AURIX microcontrollers
• Strive to constantly and consistently exceed our customers’ expectations by providing technical support from product to system-level
• Compile application documentation
• Collaborate and share your knowledge with AE/FAE teams

Please note that we offer a permanent external contract if all requirements are met. Otherwise, we offer a temporary (1 year) external contract.

Your Profile

With a flexible and adaptable mindset, you’ll stay focused on continuous improvement, tackling complex problems with ease and enthusiasm. By being personally committed to customer success, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field of study
• Knowledge in microcontrollers like Infineon AURIX and low-level software drivers for microcontrollers and their peripherals
• Advanced embedded C programming skills, as well as in other languages such as Python, and you can debug customer software
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the willingness to seek assistance from other teams within the organization when needed
• Fluency in English
