API Developer freelance remote or Brussels based
Requirements:

Master or bachelor degree in ICT
Minimum 2 years relevant experience and track record
Knowledge of English (C2) for client contacts and web meeting, knowledge of French is an asset
Ability to keep a high level vision on priorities based on impact for the end customer.
Strong understanding of database design, performance analysis, network systems, large scale storage systems, web services and API (and web infrastructure in general)
Strong analytical mind and to like to deliver quality
Able to cre ate author clean, documented & standards-compliant code

Technical skills:

.NET framework and C#, API versioning
Web Service API’s, REST, XML, JSON, MS-SQL databases
Nice to have experience with Scrum/Agile cloud services and Big Data, understanding OO principles

Responsibilities:

As a software integrator at a fast growing IT company, you need to integrate third-party systems with the the company platform.
The integration can be data integration using API’s, extra web services, plug-ins and so on.
Responsible for ensuring that what you deliver is performant, secure, understandable and well documented.
To model and implement new REST API features
To develop or adapt plugins to connect different API/databases
To interact with the clients, the sales team and the technical team of our company
