JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Performs a wide variety of data analyses under general supervision of Mesh Network Operation’s leadership and team members. Produce reports and develop/maintain processes related to Mesh Network Operations, including developing and analyzing reports using business and statistical tools to analyze data for Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) and Distribution Automation (DA) communications network lifecycle stages. Analyze and track Mesh Network Ops financial spend to ensure compliance with budget.  Report to management all data through various tools (i.e. Cognos, PowerBI and excel).
 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

-Working with Mesh Network Ops team, supply chain, finance, and vendors to gather, track vendors to gather, track and report on relevant metrics for Mesh Network Operations.
-Develops and creates data sources as part of overall metrics development for the team. Building charts, graphs, dashboards, and various graphical representations to display data for Leadership. Must be proactive and comfortable working with little guidance and all levels to gather relevant data and various stakeholders.
-Conducts complex business and financial analysis based on budget and spent and develops policy recommendations to management based on findings. Approver of invoices and track all spend.
-Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adhere to requirements.
-Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience. Coordinate the gathering of information from various departments and sites for the preparation of trending information and provide recommendations. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends. Works with project managers, internal stakeholders, and cost analysts to provide, track and monitor partner/project financials.
-Works with internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems, mitigating delays, mediating disputes, and escalating issues. Stays abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy policy decision making

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position

-Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience.
-Desired: Master’s Degree.
 
Minimum experience required of the position

-Analyst I – 0-2 years of professional experience.
-Analyst II – 2-4 years of professional experience.
-Analyst III – 4-6 years of professional experience.
 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

-Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, creating and linking data sources.
-Effectively develop and present results and recommendations to all levels in the organization.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and operate in a rapidly changing work environment.
-Specific knowledge of Meter Data Management Software (MDMS), Maximo, DDH, QuickBase.
-Analytical skill set with proficiency in data analytics and complex reporting using a diverse set of tools.
