Entergy has entered into an agreement to sell its Louisiana gas distribution business to Bernhard Capital Partners.
The sale is expected to close in approximately the third quarter of 2025. Entergy has no planned reduction in workforce as a result of this sale, and intends to operate the business as usual prior to the sale.
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Plans, conducts, and leads assignments and analysis for functional areas. Primarily supporting Gas Work Mgmt Dept and making recommendations based on performed analysis to operate more efficiently, effectively, and remain in compliance with applicable regulations.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
-Conducts complex business and financial analysis based on project scope and objectives and develops policy recommendations to management based on findings.
-Creates reports (including compliance audit reports) and performs analyses using Work Management systems and data warehouses for all Gas Dept’s to aid Management in making efficient decisions and analysis.
-Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adheres to requirements.
-Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience.
-Interacts with department management and may interact with leadership throughout the organization to identify issues that warrant future projects.
-Mentors non-Senior level analysts in project management, goal setting and other related areas.
-Stays abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy policy decision making.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
-Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience.
-Desired: Master’s Degree.
Minimum experience required of the position
-Senior Analyst: at least 6 years of professional experience.
-Senior Lead Analyst: at least 8 years of professional experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
-Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
