You’ll help us achieve it.What To ExpectSupport MUFG’s DCM origination efforts in the EU with a focus on Corporate:
- Support MUFG’s DCM origination efforts in the EU with a focus on Corporate.
- Be part of the Analyst & Associate pool
- Build relationships with colleagues at all levels within Capital Markets, including Bond and Loan Origination, Capital Markets Solutions / ESG, Syndicate teams and Bankers; as well as colleagues in other departments throughout MUFG in order to establish a relevant peer network globally and ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration
- Develop a practical understanding of all core products within the Capital Markets environment and how they link into broader client discussions
- Daily tasks will include but are not limited to market monitoring, presentation preparation, Excel model keeping / improvement, client communication / market updates, bond pricings
- Skills to be developed / acquired: understanding of bond markets, standalone crafting of presentation material (both for generic materials and client tailored materials), learning to understand clients’ needs and the bank’s capabilities

- Previous Financial Services experience (0-2y)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills (bond mathematics, pricing)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in one or more additional European languages is a strong positive (German, Italian and/or Spanish)
- A proactive, motivated approach, showing strong attention to detail, strong work ethic and commitment to high standards
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to take on ownership of processes over time
- Interest in financial markets and enjoys working in a fast paced environment within Investment Banking and Capital Markets
- Ability to manage a dynamic workload, and to use sound judgement in order to prioritise work accordingly
- Multi-tasking and a calm approach / resilience in order to work effectively under pressure, when required
- Ability to digest a large quantity of detailed information and to summarise complex topics
- Comfortable using Bloomberg and Microsoft Office – i.e. Excel, PowerPoint and Word
