Responsibilities :
– Take ownership of block-level design and verification, including scheduling and documentation.
– Effectively communicate with technical leads and architects throughout the design process to optimize block specifications and performance.
– Innovate and deliver creative design solutions to meet project goals.
– Collaborate with the physical layout team to ensure post-layout performance meets specifications.
– Maintain a rigorous approach focused on delivering high-quality results using our established design process flow.
– Work cross-functionally with other technical disciplines to ensure successful end-product delivery.
– Participate in and contribute to design reviews.
Competencies:
– Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience in analog IC design, with hands-on experience in high-speed serial communications circuits highly desirable.
– Technical Skills: Proficiency in analog design in FinFet technologies at 5nm and below is preferred. Familiarity with Cadence analog design EDA tools, Calibre, Ocean, and MDL for automating analog design verification.
– Additional Expertise: Experience in Design for Testability (DFT) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) is desirable.
– Communication: Strong ability to communicate and present to both internal and external customers, coupled with excellent documentation skills for analog block specifications and performance.
– Personal Attributes: An autonomous self-starter who is also a collaborative team player.
– Education: B.Eng. or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
