About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join the Capital Markets AML Specialist Team in Financial Crime.
The Financial Crime team sits within the First Line of Defence against money laundering, fraud, and terrorist

Our primary focus is to support business areas in managing their
fi
nancial crime risks and obliga
ti
ons in line with AIB Policy & Standards. We provide prac
ti
cal support and advice on
fi
nancial crime related issues, directly to business areas and we are responsible for working with them to manage these risks throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Include:
We are looking for two new team members to join the Capital Markets AML Specialist Team in Financial Crime, covering the ac
ti
vi
ti
es outlined below:
-Ensuring Compliance with Capital Markets AML Procedures and localised process documents
-Using online portals to obtain informa
ti
on on Bank Customers (e.g., Vision Net, Dow Jones etc.) and analysing this informa
ti
on to determine AML risk.
-Risk decisioning/credit analysis/syndicated finance/sustainability lending experience is required.
-Ability to analyse customer financial statements as part of the risk analysis process.
-Displaying tenacity in following up outstanding informa
ti
on with customers to allow comple
ti
on of An
ti
Money Laundering Tasks in a structured fashion.

ng and recording AML informa
ti
on on Bank Systems (including AML CDD).
What will you bring:
-Demonstrable experience within a Risk Assessment, Financial Crime centric position interpreting data and information, managing competing priorities.
-Knowledge of Legal & Regulatory Requirements in relation to Anti Money Laundering and an appetite for learning more.
-Is an enthusiastic individual who will seek to provide consistent top-quality service & outputs.
-Is a team player and is agile and flexible regarding learning and movement around various Anti Money Laundering(‘AML’) Specialist Teams within Financial Crime as required.
-Strong interpersonal and communications skills with experience in building mutually beneficial relationships with senior management across the organisation and with High-Net-Worth clients.
