Global Relationship Management works closely with Compliance to understand evolving KYC standards, and ensure files are completed and approved in accordance with those standards. Ongoing reporting for the program is provided to the BBH offices that are contracted with our clients as well as to the BBH Investor Services’ Client Acceptance Committee, which is made up of Partners of the firm.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe RE AML/KYC Manager is the KYC Subject Matter Expert for RE’s KYC responsibilities globally. The role will include:

• Serve as the escalation point in instances on workflow issues and/or where a client may be non-responsive
• Coordination with Compliance to monitor regulatory developments relevant to BBH’s KYC program.
• Impact analysis, to include potential resource implications, for regulatory changes, as applicable.
• Coordination of the KYC Oversight Committee to provide broader business awareness of KYC-related developments and the relevance of such developments to clients and internal resources.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the KYC process.
• Lead ad-hoc projects and AML/KYC or Compliance-related initiatives impacting RE
• Provide reporting and insights to senior management where KYC-related reporting is provided to local management committees and/or boards.
• The RE AML/KYC Manager will also be responsible for completing client KYC Files, which will include, but may not be limited to:

• Complete AML/KYC Files
• Review and validate that select RE Clients’ actual account activity and use of BBH’s products and services are consistent with the clients’ stated expected account activity and use of BBH’s products and services.

QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services or Banking industry experience
• Familiarity with regulatory and KYC regimes
• Comfort with working with virtual teams globally, and managing a small team locally
