Job description
We are looking to expand our development team responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for Advanced Driver-Assistance and Autonomous Driving systems. The Team focuses on the topics of stationary environment around host vehicle. To be more specific on most of the stationary objects that does appear in the estimated vehicle path and those that defines its boundary.Your Role:Development of algorithms for static environment estimationAlgorithm and Software design using C/C++Propose, develop and evaluate improvements for this softwareTesting and tuning of methods developed for improved performanceUnit tests developmentRoot cause identification and resolution of software issues detected on higher levels of verificationCooperate with other teams to ensure robustness across developed platformWork in cross functional team environmentYour Background:Msc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Control, Automation and Robotics or similarExtensive Programming experience in C++3+ years of development and testing of algorithms and coding experience (can include industry, academic or internship)Experience with version control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Plastic, Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar)Understanding of statistical estimation, signal processing, time filtering, tracking algorithmsFluent use of spoken and written EnglishNice to have:Experience with radar based detection/classification algorithmsExperience in the application of driver assistance systemsUnderstanding of planar and 3D geometryExperience with big scale projectsProficiency in Python and MatlabA technology enthusiast and critical thinker with a knack for problem-solvingCuriously investigate everything – ability to solving problems analytically, creatively and collaborativelyYour Benefits at Aptiv:Private health care (Signal Iduna) and Life insurance for you and your beloved onesWell-Being Program that includes regular webinars, workshops, and networking eventsFlexible working hoursEmployee Pension Plan paid by the employer (you get + 3,5% on each gross salary)Access to sports groups and Multisport cardApply today, and together let’s change tomorrow!#LI-BR1Privacy Notice – Active Candidates:Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
