Air Tightness Technician

Location: London and Home Counties
Salary: GBP28,000 – GBP32,000 pa

Penguin Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading firm with 20+ years of expertise in air tightness, sound insulation, and airflow testing. We are seeking a motivated Level 1 Air Tightness Technician to join their team and contribute to regulatory compliance and enhanced energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

As a Level 1 Air Tightness Technician, your duties will include:

* Conducting air tightness tests for varied building types.
* Ensuring compliance with Approved Documents E and F through sound insulation and airflow testing.
* Preparing precise reports and working closely with on-site teams.
* Maintaining top-condition testing equipment.

Qualifications

* Recognized Level 1 Air Tightness Technician certification or equivalent experience.
* Strong grasp of building regulations for air tightness, sound insulation, and ventilation.
* Valid UK driving license and willingness to commute for projects.
