An established environmental consultancy is expanding its Brighton office and is looking to appoint an Air Quality Consultant to join the team. This role suits a consultant with around 2-3 years’ experience who wants to strengthen their technical skills and grow within a supportive, forward-moving organisation.

You’ll contribute to a wide variety of projects spanning planning, infrastructure and industrial developments. Working alongside experienced senior consultants, you’ll be involved in detailed assessments, advanced modelling work, and gradually take ownership of your own projects as your experience develops.

Key responsibilities

Supporting delivery of air quality assessments and EIA chapters
*

Carrying out dispersion modelling using ADMS and/or AERMOD
*

Preparing technical reports and analysing monitoring data
*

Assisting senior staff with project coordination
*

Communicating with clients and external stakeholders
*

Attending site visits and monitoring campaigns
*

Contributing to internal technical knowledge sharing

Requirements

2-3 years’ practical experience in air quality consultancy or a related field
*

Experience contributing to air quality assessments
*

Knowledge of IAQM/EPUK guidance
*

Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography or similar
*

Progress toward professional accreditation (desirable)
*

Strong written and verbal communication skills
*

Full UK driving licence
