Position: Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Stockton-on-Tees and around

Are you a Skilled Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer? If so, Randstad C&P has an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients global facilities management team. They are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality services and ensuring the comfort and safety of commercial property occupants.

It is a full-time, permanent position covering commercial properties in Stockton-on-Tees.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Oncall: 1 in 4- standby pay

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on various air conditioning systems, including

split systems, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers.

* Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
* Carry out installation and commissioning of HVAC systems when required.
* Undertake general fabric maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work,

and carpentry.

* Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer

service.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in air

conditioning systems.

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
* F-Gas Category 1 certification is desirable.
* 18th edition is desirable.
* Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems in

commercial environments.

* Basic knowledge and experience in general fabric maintenance tasks, including

plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
