Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer for an immediate, emergency requirement at a major distribution site in Hinckley. This is a temporary position supporting a high-volume operational environment, focusing on the maintenance and repair of critical cooling and ventilation systems.

Role Overview

Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week.
*

Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 16:00.
*

Contract Type: Temporary (Immediate Emergency Cover).
*

Location: Hinckley.
*

Start Date: 18/05/2026.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC Maintenance: Deliver comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance across various air conditioning and HVAC systems.
*

Fault Diagnosis: Efficiently identify and repair faults to minimize system downtime in a fast-paced environment.
*

Compliance: Ensure all works are completed in strict accordance with F-Gas regulations and site health and safety protocols.
*

Facilities Support: Coordinate with the wider FM team to ensure optimal building climate control and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Essential Qualification: Must hold a valid F-Gas certificate.
*

Experience: Proven background in Facilities Management (FM) environments.
*

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical cooling faults.
*

Availability: Must be able to commit to the immediate start date to address emergency site requirements.
