Job Title: Senior AI Researcher

Location: London or Cambridge, United Kingdom

Type: Permanent

On-site working required and sponsorship available for candidates already based in the UK.

Our client are a semiconductor company based in Cambridge looking for Researchers within AI/Deep Learning.

Responsibilities:

•Lead significant research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence

•Develop and implement novel algorithms and solutions for team and company initiatives

•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and research interns

•Set and refine research directions in collaboration with team leadership

•Build and maintain collaborations with internal and external partners

•Secure research funding through grant writing and partnership development

•Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals

•Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI and related fields

The Ideal Candidate

•PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field; or equivalent research experience

•Extensive publication record in top conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL)

•Demonstrated expertise in machine learning algorithms and techniques

•Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar

•Proven ability to lead research projects and work both independently and collaboratively

•Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and influence research direction
