Responsibilities

  • Constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment’s.
  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) within the lab, and Follow all the Lab. documented procedures and instructions regarding HACCP, ISO, Hygiene, and EHS.
  • Review daily test results for Crop, and Ensures all results documented, and summary reporting on daily basis.
  • Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
  • Insure calibration checks of the lab. Equipment and instruments as per the required intervals.
  • Initiating the potato /corn storing plan and has the flexibility for any deviation.
  • Potato/ Corn storing or direct processing decision maker.
  • Achieving Potato /Corn AOP.
  • CIPC /Fumigation plan for potato /Corn storage.
  • Following up, monitoring, and reporting the storing conditions / parameters for the Potato /Corn storage.
  • Following SDM protocol.
  • Review SAP &VISTEX for the Team
  • Stock rotation follow up.
  • Following Tracking Variance &Concession QTY
  • Insuring receiving of potato/ Corn within specs / V&C.
  • Insuring delivering of potato Corn to production lines within specs/ V&C.
  • Sharing monthly KPIs reports.
  • Schedule laboratory teams to ensure timely and accurate laboratory testing for production and quality teams is conducted.
  • Plan / Monitor laboratories requirements (Reagents, chemicals, tools , equipment , PPEs ,…) and ensure that they are provided in a timely manner
  • Update and review laboratory documents (SOPs , Specs., Operation Instructions) according to communicated changes and document control requirements
  • Conduct induction training to newly employed analysts, and Ensures the continuous induction of Moral and
  • Motivation initiatives to ensure high productive and motivated teams.
  • Initiates training needs for his team resulting from either channels; performance appraisals outputs, or technical training regarding GLP.
  • Ensures that Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is carried out and the required regular audit results are reported to the laboratories manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Agriculture
  • Good Communication Skill and Good English language
  • Analytical Thinking / Skills / decision maker
  • Accuracy & Attention to Details
  • Internal / External Customer Focus
  • Familiar with the requirements of the Potato & Corn receiving & Storage
