A leading agricultural engineering employer is recruiting an Agricultural Service Technician to join its growing team in Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, problem-solving and working with modern farming equipment.

You’ll be responsible for keeping essential machinery running smoothly for farms and agricultural businesses across the region.

What you’ll be doing

– Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery
– Diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
– Responding to breakdowns and providing on-site support
– Completing job reports and service records
– Working alongside parts and sales teams to support customers
– Maintaining health, safety and quality standards

What we’re looking for

– Experience working with agricultural, plant, HGV or similar machinery
– Strong diagnostic and repair skills
– A reliable, organised and hands-on approach
– Ability to work independently and within a team
– Good communication and customer service skills
– Full UK driving licence
– Engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential
