About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Service Technician to join a growing service team. If you enjoy a variety of work, diagnosing and repairing machinery, and delivering excellent results to customers, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of professional and domestic grounds care machinery. You thrive on challenges, work efficiently, and are always keen to learn new skills and develop your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

– Service and repair Agricultural/ Farm machinery from multiple manufacturers.
– Diagnose faults and provide accurate information to prepare repair quotes.
– Complete all necessary documentation for work assignments.
– Carry out diagnostics and repairs in the workshop and at customer sites.
– Perform pre-delivery setup for new or used equipment.
– Maintain a clean, organised workstation and ensure correct use of tools and vehicles.
– Participate in training and certification programs to continually develop skills.
– Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Essential:

– High level of mechanical competence and experience with turf or similar machinery.
– Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
– Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Good timekeeping and communication skills.
– Own tools and computer literacy; training on company systems provided.
– Previous experience with commercial, agricultural, or construction machinery.

Desirable:

– Professional qualification in grounds care or agricultural machinery maintenance.
– Forklift license.
