Job Opportunity: Agricultural Equipment Engineer

Location: Blackburn

Salary: Starting from £35,000
Working Hours:

– Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Your Role

As an Agricultural Equipment Mechanic, you’ll:

– Maintain & Repair Equipment: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and replace parts as needed.
– Handle Mechanical & Electrical Work: Adjust and repair both mechanical and electrical components of grounds equipment.
– Inventory Management: Track parts, supplies, and tools to ensure everything is ready when needed.
– Operate Equipment: Use a variety of tools and equipment related to grounds maintenance.
– Ensure Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work space.
– Document Work: Keep records of maintenance and repair activities for future reference.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

– Experience & Qualifications: Proven skills in maintaining and repairing agricultural or plant machinery.
– Technical Expertise: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
– Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload.
– Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols for equipment maintenance.
– Customer Service Skills: Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
– Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required.
