Title: Agricultural Engineer

Location: Plymouth

40 hours per week

Shift: Mon – Fri / Day Shifts

My client, is looking for an Agricultural working a day shift based from home and covering the Plymouth and Devon area area.

The Agricultural Engineer will be experienced with agricultural/plant machinery, will have served an engineering apprenticeship and, ideally, have recent experience of the agricultural industry – although full training will be given to applicants who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience.

The main duties of the Agricultural Engineer will comprise, but not be limited to:

– Inspection of new and used agricultural/plant equipment including tractors, combines and telehandlers.
– Carrying out routine service on agricultural/plant equipment.

– Diagnostics and Repair of agricultural/plant equipment.

The successful Agricultural Engineer will have;

– A recognised apprenticeship in land-based engineering / Plant NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent (Preferable but not essential)
– Relevant recent experience in a similar role within the agricultural or plant/construction industry.

– A positive attitude and a passion for agriculture.
