Apply today!The positionAs our new People Leader (PL) you will play a key role in ensuring strong change management, help design clear organizational processes, motivate and develop our people, and ensure focus on operational stability. You will report to the VP of Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure.The product teams in Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure are co-led. As a People Leader you hold the line management responsibility for the employees in Denmark, who report to you. The Product Owners reporting to you hold functional product responsibility, direct the work of the product teams, and ensure clear product strategy and priorities. The functional leadership of product owners is handled by Product Managers who, like you, are also part of the ART leadership team.Hence, the teams you will be leading are not just your teams but our teams. The idea of co-leading teams must sit well with you. There will be tasks you do alone, but the most exciting tasks are those we collaborate on and complete together.Additionally, your key responsibilities will include:Long-term competency and skills development, such as people career development and motivation including coaching and mentoringFoster diversity, inclusion and high performanceAnnual FTE budget planning based on capacity needs and ensuring short- and long-term capacity plan for the teamStrategic workforce planning, ensuring our organization and your team are ready for future needsBuilding strong personal and professional competencies in our team to deliver on our ambitious strategyUnderstanding trends and building domain knowledge in the broader infrastructure space including SAP, on prem services and network.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we expect you to tick most of the following:An academic background in a relevant field e.g. Business, IT, Engineering, HR or Computer ScienceAt least 3 years of experience leading and managing IT teams, and 5 years of experience preferably in infrastructure, cloud/hosting, SAP or similar where the work combines operations and developmentStrong Coaching and Team Building SkillsPerformance management, goal setting and naturally foster a feedback culture.Experience with supporting a transformation through personal advocacy, engagement, stakeholder management and leadershipCertification or practical experience with Agile methodologiesOn a personal level you have an inclusive mindset and have a focus on diversity. You are using your empathy to ensure a sustainable work environment, building trust, empowering and motivating teams and accelerating people’s development. You are proactive, can ask for help and comfortable in setting direction. You are fluent in written and spoken English.About the departmentThe position is based in Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure (CCI) which is a department in Global IT Operations (GITO). GITO is an area with 450+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing Novo Nordisk infrastructure operations, service desk and digital workplace services globally. In CCI we are inspired by agile methodologies and the SAFe framework. As an agile People Leader, you will become part of the ART Leadership team together with fellow People Leaders in DK, US and India, Product managers, Release Train Engineer, System Architects, and the CCI VP. We are a strong leadership team of 15 people who value honesty, humor, transparency and efficiency.You will be leading groups of highly skilled and dedicated employees employed in the area of SAP, network expansion projects, Quality and Hybrid Platforms. The profiles include infrastructure architects and engineers as well as Product Owners, quality professionals and project managers based in Denmark. The department structure is newly established, and your team has been designed to cater for the growth across several product teams. Hence your team members belong to several different product delivery teams.We are embracing new ideas on how to successfully deliver our products, services and projects and introduce new ways of working.
