About the roleLocated within UCL’s, Information Services Division (ISD), and working in collaboration UCL Estates Division, the Agile Delivery Manager will working within the Digital Campus Experience Portfolio.The secondment for the Agile Delivery Manager will be responsible managing a diverse matrix team of AV, Network and third-party installation suppliers to forward plan, design and delivering UCL Estates led initiatives to upgrade teaching spaces and meeting rooms. These activities will follow the SAFe Agile Framework of Termly Increments (TI), where work is discussed, assigned to teams, and then scheduled into sprints.You will oversee the delivery of upgrades to teaching space and meeting room working with subject matter experts from the AV and network teams, agreeing forward plans, ensuring AV narratives and designs are produced and aligned to the upgrade outcomes agreed in the forward plan.You will be required to manage risks and issues through facilitating the team to manage any problems and agree solutions that are then planned into sprints.Proactively manage the finances to ensure that financial actuals and forecasts are maintained and regularly reviewed and invoices for suppliers are receipted upon delivery, to manage and track the finance expenditures, ensuring a clear view of the overall budget and commitments are being managed and regularly reviewed with the product owner.You will also be required to oversee the delivery of the upgrades to ensure all work is being carried out as per the designs agreed with the subject matter experts.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE: 60% ONSITE / 40% REMOTEAbout youThe candidate is required to have demonstratable experience of delivering Network/AV upgrades in their current role.The successful candidate will have good communication, forward planning and risk management skills. With proven experience of managing stakeholder expectations across the organisation.Good stakeholder management skills are essential with the ability to proactively work across multiple teams across the organisation, ensuring that requirements are translated into narratives and designs, agreed forward plans that are transposed into Agile stories to support the delivery of the work during Termly Increments (TI), ensuring they are on time and within budget.This role requires an ambitious person that wants to progress their career at UCL.
