Avec sa Division Logistique, le Groupe Daher est le leader français de la logistique industrielle, spécialisé dans la gestion et l’optimisation des entrepôts logistiques et chaînes d’approvisionnement pour des secteurs exigeants. Il propose des solutions de logistique intégrée et complète, allant de la planification à la gestion opérationnelle, directement sur site client ou à distance.
Job environment
Job title of the line manager: Team Leader Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To use mechanical handling equipment for goods loading, unloading and storage, distribution and other aspects of handling in all storage areas, delivery docks and drop zone.
Scope of Activities
To carry out some or all of the following activities:
- Receive, accept, move, load and unload items
- Make visual checks of goods
- Select and prepare the appropriate handling equipment
- Store and stock incoming items in accordance with the instructions
- Prepare, identify and place items in the designated area
- Organize and optimize the storage area for items
- Operate handling equipment in accordance with all traffic and safety rules
- Complete the load movement tracking documentation
- Check the condition of loads, and report any issues
- Provide inventory support
- Distribute components and equipment
- Carry out handling tasks
- Comply with Health & Safety rules
Keep all areas clean and tidy
The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
