We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic Duty and Assessment Team in South West England. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and Respond: Conduct timely and effective assessments of children and families, ensuring that safeguarding is at the forefront of your practice.
* Support and Mentor: Provide expert advice, support, and mentoring to less experienced team members, enhancing the overall quality of service delivery.
* Lead and Manage: Take the lead on complex cases, making critical decisions, and ensuring that all actions comply with statutory responsibilities.
* Collaborate: Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
* Innovate: Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative approaches to duty and assessment work.
About You:
* Qualified Social Worker: Registered with Social Work England, with significant post-qualification experience in a similar setting.
* Experienced Practitioner: Proven experience in a duty and assessment role, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Leader: Ability to manage complex cases and provide leadership within a busy team.
* Communicator: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
* Resilient: Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
