Then you might be the Logistics Coordinator, we are looking for to join our Commercial Distribution team!

Your new role

As Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring efficient execution of deliveries to Novo Nordisk production sites, affiliates and external customers. You will work closely with production sites within our national setup, and our global operational distributional setup too. Our processes are highly automated, and we strive for hands off processes. However, you will work closely with our Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) in relation to urgent shipment planning and execution, as well as coordinate between warehouses and freight forwarders, when needed. 

Your key responsibilities will include to:

-Ensure efficient delivery execution in close collaboration with 4PL and internal stakeholders including monitoring our automated shipping processes 
-Collaborate closely with our 4PL & warehouse regarding urgent shipment planning and execution
-Proactively resolve potential issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and colleagues, always trying to find root cause and prevent reoccurrence of the issue
-Continuously align and collaborate with 4PL and our other internal or external stakeholders to improve our processes
-Generate shipping documents, as well as documents for the bank e.g. letter of credit and collections
 

Furthermore, you will participate in cLEAN(R) and other improvement activities and/or internal projects in relation to the shipping processes. The position requires a high level of independence. The logistics coordinator must proactively solve potential issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and colleagues. 

Your New Department

You will join Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D), the function responsible for global distribution of materials across Novo Nordisk’s network—from contract manufacturers to production sites, affiliates, and regional offices worldwide.

GL&D consists of 80+ colleagues organised across Global Distribution, Global GDP Compliance & Transport Control, Global Logistics, and Global L&D Development & Sustainability, located at our Supply Chain HQ in Taastrup. This role sits within Global Distribution, a dedicated team focused on delivering high service levels while balancing environmental footprint and financial impact.

Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive team player with:

-A relevant educational background within freight forwarding, supply chain, logistics, or similar.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics and shipment coordination—preferably within pharma and GDP.
-Strong technical skills and experience with SAP and MS Office.
-Experience with national or international road logistics (advantage).
-A proactive mindset, strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
-Fluency in spoken and written English.
You are known for your positive approach, structured work style, and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, while continuously contributing to process improvements.
