Do you want to play an essential role in driving our current as well as new Environmental reporting framework? If so, we are looking for a maternity cover for our Environmental Reporting and Data Analyst. You will be working as part of the Sustainability Data and AI team within the Sustainability Strategy and Insights (SSI) at Novo Nordisk.
Your new role
We offer and existing and challenging role where you will play a significant role in ensuring high quality Sustainability reporting (the E&S in ESG reporting), hereby positioning Novo Nordisk as a sustainability leader among investors, regulators and other external stakeholders.
As part of the Sust. Data and AI team, your main responsibilities will be to:

-Prepare timely quarterly and annual reporting, including Sustainability data in the Annual report, external quarterly company announcements and internal reporting to executive management and other stakeholders
-Driving and/or working with the development of Sustainability reporting processes, documentation and system maintenance as well as controls in Assurance connect
-Secure and build Scope 3 data analyses specifically targeting category 2 within our Investment spend activities and category 4 and 9 related to our up- and downstream distribution
-Ensuring and supporting audit readiness and liaise with internal and external auditors
-Controlling and develop digital solutions and data software tools to ensure optimal data entries and analyses
-Improving the stakeholder management landscape across Product Supply to relieve and shield the organisation whilst at the same introducing higher standards in terms of E-data supply
Your new department
The Sustainability Data and AI team is part of the Sustainability Strategy and Insights department and is anchored within the CEO office of Novo Nordisk. The team has embarked on the journey of reducing the environmental footprint as well Social responsibility by using data, AI and digital solutions to support decisions. The team is among other things responsible for the reporting of energy, water, waste and CO2 emissions from Production and distribution as well as developing state-of-the-art solutions to support therein. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and scientists as well as business analysts who drive data analysis, models and AI solutions on the environmental sustainability agenda for our expanding production sites. The Team is currently consisting of 7 people in HQ Bagsværd and 2 colleagues in Bangalore, India. We work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to implement the Circular for Zero environmental strategy into Novo Nordisk production thus supporting our overall ambition to have zero environmental impact.
Your skills and qualifications
The Sust. reporting landscape and regulatory space is currently undergoing a revolution – where new requirements such as the CSRD and EU Taxonomy are being introduced. To succeed in this position, you must thrive in a high pace environment, where things are anything but a steady state,
The right candidate should have the following skills:

-Have experience working with environmental sustainability, Financial Controlling, ESG reporting or as an ESG Consultant
-A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to ESG topics, accounting/controlling, auditing or similar
-Worked within reporting/controlling or auditing and possess and interest in utilising your financial experience within the ESG space
-Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels
-A benefit but not necessity to be familiar with system control processes and data tools such as SOFI (by Sphera), Assurance Connect, or other similar tools
