Your new role
As IT Infrastructure Professional, you’ll ensure the stability, security, and compliance of the IT infrastructure that supports production IT/OT systems in Kalundborg. This is a hands-on operational role where you work closely with IT Responsibles, System Managers, central infrastructure teams, and external vendors to keep critical platforms available and performing as expected.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

-Ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of infrastructure services in a GMP-regulated environment
-Supporting and implementing infrastructure changes, upgrades, and lifecycle activities in collaboration with IT Responsible and System Managers
-Contributing to incident handling, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in line with ITIL principles
-Ensuring infrastructure compliance with IT security requirements, standards, and validated state
-Maintaining and updating relevant infrastructure documentation, including technical documentation and SOPs
-Coordinating with central IT infrastructure teams and external suppliers to deliver seamless service
-Supporting audits and inspections by providing infrastructure-related documentation and explanations
-Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to standardisation and optimisation of infrastructure solutions
This role requires physical presence in Kalundborg, Denmark.
Your new department
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You will join the IT Team in Kalundborg, which is part of the central IT organisation DD&IT PS API M2 & PPV IT Operations. The team supports production plants with compliant and stable IT/OT solutions and consists of System Managers, IT Responsibles, and IT Infrastructure specialists. Together, you’ll work closely with Production, Automation, and related departments across NNKA. Our production IT landscape includes PCS/DCS systems (e.g. SattLine), MES/MOM solutions (PROCOS), PLC-controlled equipment, and the supporting IT infrastructure platforms.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and collaborative – with a structured and solution-oriented mindset focused on stability and quality.
You’ll bring with you:
-BSc or MSc within IT, Infrastructure, Computer Science, Automation, or similar – or equivalent practical experience
-Experience with IT infrastructure in a production or regulated environment
-Knowledge of servers, virtualisation, networks, operating systems, and backup solutions
-Understanding of compliance and IT security requirements in a GMP context
-Experience or familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)
-Fluency in English; Danish is considered a strong advantage
-Clear communication skills, ownership of operational tasks, and a continuous drive to improve stability and efficiency
