Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in South Yorkshire.

The pay for this position is GBP23-GBP28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Working hours: Mon -Fri 9.00- 16.00

Job Description:
Essential to be trained and competent to provide dysphagia assessments and interventions, and have transport to be able to visit clients in the community. Ideally have experience providing neuro rehab in a community setting to people with long term neurological conditions, esp Parkinson’s disease, Multiplesclerosis, Motor Neuro Disease.
Have transport to be able to visit clients in the community

They will need to have the appropriate competencies to be able to deliver dysphagia assessments (swallowing) and work unsupervised in a community setting. They will need own transport to be able to travel around the city , visiting clients in own homes.

We are looking for someone with experience working with clients with progressive long term neurological conditions including MS, Parkinson’s disease, MND, HD as part of a multidisciplinary community neuro rehabilitation team. Initially looking for someone for 3-4 months.
