Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 7 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in Kent.

The pay for this position is GBP27-GBP35 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Skills/Experience:
We are looking for SALT B7 to work 22.5 hours per week at present. You will be working as part of a busy Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy team based in North Kent, across a large geographical patch, carrying out assessment and intervention for patients mainly with dysphagia and some communication. Patient groups include dementia, elderly care, progressive neurological conditions, stroke, FND. You will see patients in their own homes, nursing homes, community inpatient rehab wards, outpatient clinics and virtually as indicated. Must be a car driver. You will also support the team with triage. Knowledge of EMIS electronic records system desirable but not essential as some training can be given.
