We have a number of positions, in the following services:
Senior and Occupational Therapists
Senior OT – £57,726 – £60,795 per annum
OT – £49,638 – £52,674 per annum

These posts work as a member of the Complex Occupational Therapy Service, having a clinical caseload of people with complex multiple pathologies, who exhibit a range of psychological, neurological, emotional, behavioural, social problems or age-related conditions. 

The Senior Occupational Therapist will manage OT’s and support other staff, responsible for ensuring that the OT practice standards remain high and that services are delivered appropriately to adults, including those with complex needs and those where statutory interventions are required.

The OTs are expected to have moving & handling skills, knowledge of the DFG process & the ability to complete minor & major adaptations.

 

Community and Specialist Senior and Social Workers – Operations, Mental Health, Learning Disability and Safeguarding Teams
Senior SW – £49,638 – £55,710 per annum
Social Workers – £41,964 – £49,638 per annum

Community / Operations – The role holder will assist individuals, carers and families to develop support plans to meet the outcomes identified, using a strength-based, asset-based approach and family, friends and community options where appropriate and eligible needs are identified.

Mental Health – experience of mental health social work is preferred. There are opportunities to train as Approved Mental Health Professionals, (AMHPs) after a qualifying period.

Safeguarding – you will need experience of adult safeguarding, knowledge of relevant legislation and making safeguarding personal.

Learning Disability – To provide a professional social work service to adults with a mental, health condition, their families and carers who are ordinary residents of Hammersmith and Fulham in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014. The post holder will ensure that care and support are person centred and put the people with whom they work in control of their lives. They will work within the legislative frameworks, this will include s.9, s,13 and S.42 of the Care Act 2014, NHS Continuing Healthcare and Community deprivation of liberty will also need to consider.

We have a hybrid working model and staff and will be supported to do this with mobile IT equipment and hot desk facilities in all offices across the borough. Professional, practice-based supervision will be provided.
