The Children’s Services Department is committed to making Hampshire a better place for Children and Young People and we do this thanks to our people. Joining the School Admissions Team, you will provide administrative support to admissions officers in the implementation of the main annual school admissions round and in-year admissions as well as the preparation of admission appeal cases and contribute to the delivery of an efficient service in support of business requirements.

This is a varied role which requires excellent data handling skills and a good working knowledge of IT packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in working successfully and accurately under pressure, including responding appropriately to stressful telephone calls.  You will demonstrate high level communication skills and be able to deal sensitively with confidential information and enquiries. Knowledge of Children’s Services and schools would be an advantage.
