As a member of the Rijnlands Lyceum Foundation, ESH is committed to providing exceptional education and supports its schools in achieving the highest educational standards for their students.Our Primary School has a job opening from September 2024 for a:Admission Officer Primary(0.5 FTE)Job descriptionThe admissions officer plays a crucial role in engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders. We pride ourselves on providing excellent attention to each family and their individual needs for their children. Admissions to our school is a complex and involved process.These are some of the tasks expected of the admissions officer:

  • Being the first point of contact for prospective parents
  • Organizing and conducting intake interviews with families
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective parents
  • Managing the administrative process of admissions
  • Advising on language scenarios and, where needed, arranging/organizing language assessments
  • Preparing forecasts of student numbers for management
  • Managing and monitoring the waiting list(s)

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and good knowledge of Dutch
  • Experience in the education sector and application and enrolment processes will be beneficial
  • Excellent IT skills and expertise in the effective use of software like, e.g., Microsoft Office, Open Apply and ParnasSys
  • A solution-focused approach and the ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • A team player who can perform under pressure

  • An appointment based on the Dutch collective labor agreement (CAO PO) for primary education in the relevant OOP scale 6. The specific step in the scale depends on relevant background and experience
