Our client is looking for an experienced is looking for Business Support Officer

Part time 24 hours per week.

These roles would be regarded as front line service delivery roles. Here, role holders are directly accountable for performance, often through the direct control of significant

resources or through managed contracts. These roles may also deliver some of their

results through collaborative working with co-producers or other third party agencies.

At the lower levels, operational managers may oversee a department or team and at the

lowest levels, direct contact with service users will be a common feature of roles in this

job family. At the higher levels, they may be in charge of a department, large operational

area or the management of significant contracts and may be ultimately accountable for

ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

To deliver comprehensive business support service for Adults and Children s Social Care,

including support of business and social care processes, customer facing support,

statutory, formal and multi-agency protection, strategy, missing, legal planning, public law

outline, panels, trackers and child sexual exploitation meetings, in accordance to Sutton s

Child and Adult Protection Procedures. Social Care complaints, subject access requests

and recruitment.

Representative accountabilities

Deliver core tasks under the direction of a more senior member of staff to

ensure services run efficiently and effectively;

Deal with routine issues/problems to ensure customer issues are resolved

effectively, escalating when necessary;

Operate complex machinery or tools in order to deliver tasks to the agreed standard;

Identify faults with tools/equipment and carry out basic maintenance or refer for

repair where necessary;

Allocate straightforward tasks to more junior members of staff;
