Linsco are looking for a construction site administrator to start work in Newcastle Under Lyme.
You will provide administrative and operational support for all aspects of a construction project, ensuring efficient communication, documentation, and coordination between contractors, project managers, and clients. This role is vital for maintaining project documentation, monitoring progress, and assisting with scheduling and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes.
Project Documentation:
* Manage and maintain all project-related documentation, including contracts, permits, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders.
* Organise and update drawings, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring all teams have access to the latest versions.
* Oversee the processing and tracking of contracts and other agreements with subcontractors and vendors.
* Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, project schedules, and correspondence to relevant stakeholders.
Communication & Coordination:
* Act as the primary point of contact for communication between project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Assist in coordinating project meetings, ensuring accurate schedules and agendas are provided.
* Facilitate clear and timely communication between teams to resolve issues and answer queries related to project details.
Financial & Budgetary Support:
* Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and verifying invoices for payment.
* Prepare and process purchase orders, change orders, and payment applications, ensuring all financial records are accurate.
* Liaise with accounting teams to ensure timely payments to contractors and suppliers.
* Assist with cost tracking and reporting to ensure the project stays within budget.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and construction management software.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
