It reports organically and functionally to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer, under the direction of the Strategic Director of the Office.Among other functions, the Technical Management Unit of this office is responsible for analyzing the local, regional, national, and international context to identify strategic niches and opportunities for the R&D centers and units, aiming to enhance the acquisition of financial resources from diversified sources.This analysis function involves the management of a huge amount of documentary information, ranging from the CVs of research staff, to the study of the aggregation of their capabilities in research groups, the performance of these groups and, in addition, all the huge amount of information on the activity carried out in the Centres and other research structures of the UDC. This information is also used to extract a large part of the performance measurement indicators of researchers at the UDC. Indicators that are decisive for access to competitive public funds since they represent a large part of the quantitative criteria that the evaluation agencies use in their analyses. For all these reasons, all the information must be properly structured and updated.In order to fulfil the functions entrusted to us and to meet the needs that arise in this field of action, it is necessary to have personnel with a proven track record in the field of document management and information management, who can develop a work methodology that allows this documentation to be organised and customized for later analysis.Tasks to be developed: Based on the above, the support tasks to be performed with this contract are:
- Organize and customize all the necessary information to build a panel of R&D performance indicators for the UDC. This panel will take into account data of the human resources involved in the subject, scientific production and portfolio of projects and clients, among others.
- Improve the efficiency of data collection for the panels of indicators of R&D activity. In this aspect, the interrelation with the UDC units that must supply data to the system will stand out, as well as establishing the operating relationships with other subsystems integrated in the management of the panel of indicators.
- Develop action proposals to improve the indicators and performance of the UDC in these fields, especially in everything related to the demands for results from external funders.
- Facilitate channels of expert and oriented communication between the UDC research centers and units and the Center Coordination Office.
- To publicize the experiences, good practices, actions and resources that improve the research capabilities of the Centers and that have an impact on their indicators.
- To support the Strategic Direction of the Management Unit in the preparation of the Annual Plan and the Final Report.

- Level of knowledge of the English language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with a minimum level B2. (maximum 10 points)
B2: 5 points. Higher than B2: 10 points.Accreditation method: Certificate of the level of knowledge of the corresponding foreign language indicating the level achieved in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- Level of knowledge of the Galician language, with a minimum level CELGA 4. (5 points)
Accreditation mode: CELGA 4 certificate or higher.Training (maximum 10 points)
- Specific training in Management and Processing of Data, Archives and Documents; Document Management; Digitalization; Archival Description. 1 point for every 50 hours of training, with a maximum of 10 points.
Accreditation method: Certificates of attendance Professional experience (maximum 25 points)
- Minimum accredited work experience of 1 year (12 months) in the business areas (private company and public company) of:
Library Management. Archive Management. Digitalization. Document Management. Maximum 25 points. 0,75 points per month worked (included the minimum required of 1 year).Accreditation method: Social Security labour report and/or copies of the employment contracts. It will be accompanied by a responsible statement from the candidate indicating the functions performed during the period of validity of each of these contracts.Personal interview (maximum 25 points) Candidates with a score greater than 60 points in the sum of all merits will be interviewed. If no candidate obtains a score higher than 10 points in the interview stage, the position will remain unfilled.Note: the interview will focus on the candidate’s expert knowledge, in the following aspects: research, registration, classification, cataloguing, archiving and digitalisation of documents; library management; document management; huge storage.Based on meeting the requirements and merit evaluation, a prioritized ranking of candidates will be established. The candidate with the highest score will be awarded the position. In case of a tie, the following criteria will be used in the specified order to select the candidate:1. Score in Training (maximum 10 points).2. Score in Languages (maximum 15 points).3. Score in the Personal Interview phase (maximum 25 points).4.
