Administrative Specialist – Supply Chain

Overview:  Provides administrative support for Supply Chain and Shiloh Plant.

Required skills:  
o    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel), verified by timed tests as part of interview and selection process. 
o    Strong problem solving and recognition skills.
o    Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
o    Excellent work accuracy and attention to detail.
o    Strong teamwork and collaboration ability.

Job Essentials:
o    Safety – daily participation and involvement in individual and team safety responsibilities such as Behavior Based Safety, housekeeping practices, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
o    Follow work instructions/training documents specific to this job function.
o    For Production Packet Control/Organization & Release Assistance:
o    Prepare and distribute new and changed production packets.
o    Organize filing and long-term storage of manufacturing files.
o    Assist in job closing process.
o    Perform electronic transactions to move parts into production.
o    Provide necessary release information to the shop.
o    For Systems Maintenance & PC-Related Functions:
o    Create, maintain, update, and distribute various PC-based reports.
o    Maintain and update SAP.
o    Perform data gathering and report generation as needed.
o    Assist with taking and recording of periodic and annual physical inventories.
o    Work with Engineering Systems related to prints and part specifications.
o    Work with Quality to ensure SMTs are correct and confirmations are entered accurately. 
o    General:
o    Participate actively in team-based department activities, including team meetings and training.
o    Provide support to Supply Chain as needed/required.

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR).  Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
